Cooperation with Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated
Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated is a single international organisation for accreditation established to take over the existing roles of both International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) according to resolution adopted during the 19th IAF-ILAC Joint General Assembly held in Frankfurt am Main in 2019.
Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated was registered in New Zealand in 2024 and formally became operational from 01 January 2026.
Key aspects of the Global Accreditation Cooperation's activities include strengthening global cooperation, supporting consistency in accreditation and providing a single authoritative voice for promoting the development of accreditation worldwide as well as performing all roles and responsibilities of IAF and ILAC, including the maintenance of a Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MRA) between accreditation bodies and regional accreditation organizations.
Objectives of Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated:

History of cooperation between Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated and NAAU
07 October 2025 – NAAU submitted the application for membership in the Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated.
07 November 2025 – NAAU received confirmation of Full Member status in the Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated.
