Seminar for maintaining competence of accreditation personnel of management system certification bodies

On May 29, 2018, the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine held a workshop with the view of maintaining competence of accreditation personnel of management system certification bodies.

36 people participated in this event, of which:
- 8 persons – NAAU regular staff;
- 28 persons – NAAU non-staff personnel.

During the seminar, the following issues were considered:
- provisions of ДСТУ EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015;
- analysis of ДСТУ ISO/IEC TS 17021-2:2016 and ДСТУ ISO/IEC TS 17021-3:2017;
- requirements for accreditation works and paperwork on their results;
- use of accreditation marks in accordance with NAAU policy;
- consideration of IAF Mandatory Documents;
- provisions of ISO/TS 22003:2013;
- requirements of IAF MD 16.

The following persons spoke on behalf of NAAU at the seminar:
- T. Koveshnikova, First Deputy Chairman on Accreditation Matters;
- O. Krylov, Head of Department for Accreditation of Certification and Inspection Bodies;
- V. Gomenyuk, Deputy Head of Department-Head of Division for Accreditation of Certification Bodies;
- O. Romanovych, Deputy Head of Department, Head of Division for International Cooperation, Scientific Activities and Quality;
- S.Yankovych, Chief Specialist of Division for Accreditation of Certification Bodies;
- M. Ganechko, Chief Specialist of Division for Accreditation of Inspection Bodies.
Participants of the seminar actively engaged in the discussion of proposed topics and expressed a number of suggestions on improving the work of NAAU accreditation personnel.
