Seminar for accreditation personnel

On October 18, 2018, the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine held a seminar with the view of maintaining competence of accreditation personnel.

223 people participated in this event, of which:
– 27 people – NAAU regular staff;
– 196 persons – NAAU non-staff personnel.

During the seminar, the following issues were considered:

- Current status and prospects of development of the National Accreditation System of Ukraine;
- reasons for canceling the assessor and / or expert status;
- responsibility of the NAAU non-staff personnel for performing accreditation and monitoring works;
- prevention of corruption in the performance of staff;
- practical guidance on the assessment of laboratories for compliance with the requirements of ДСТУ ISO/IEC 17025:2017;
- requirements for performing accreditation works in accordance with ДСТУ EN ISO/IEC 17065:2014 and formalization of documents by their results;
- requirements for performing accreditation works in accordance with ДСТУ EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and formalization of documents by their results;
- requirements for performing accreditation works in accordance with ДСТУ EN ISO/IEC 17020:2014 and formalization of documents by their results;
- requirements for performing accreditation works in accordance with ДСТУ EN ISO/IEC 17024:2014 and formalization of documents by their results.

During the seminar, the following persons presented their reports:

- I. Striletskyi, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine;
- I. Gogoman, Chief Specialist of the Department for Laboratory Accreditation of NAAU;
- V. Burkovskyi, Head of Division for Surveillance of Accredited Bodies of NAAU;
- S. Yankovych, Chief Specialist of Division for Accreditation of Certification Bodies of NAAU;
- O. Kvasha, Chief Specialist of Division for Accreditation of Inspection Bodies of NAAU;
- V. Filvarkovyi, Leading Specialist of Division for Accreditation of Certification Bodies of NAAU.

Participants of the seminar actively engaged in the discussion of proposed topics and expressed a number of suggestions on improving the work of NAAU accreditation personnel.
