An extraordinary meeting of the Presidium of the Technical Accreditation Committee (TAC)

On the 30th of July 2010 an extraordinary meeting of the Presidium of the Technical Accreditation Committee (TAC) has convened at NAAU premises with the following approved decisions as a result:

Re the necessity to make changes to the organization of TAC’s activity:

Recommend NAAU to appoint Mr. Korotkov, as a new Chair of the TAC

Re the use of DSTU ISO/IEC 17020:2001 during the accreditation of economic operators that perform testing and inspection of motor vehicles, with the aim of conducting the technical inspection:

Recommend NAAU during the accreditation of economic operators that perform testing and/or inspection of motor vehicles, as well as tractors, truck chassis, self-propelled agricultural, road building and reclamation equipment, agricultural machinery and other equipment during the State technical inspection

to apply DSTU ISO/IEC 17020:2001 or DSTU ISO/IEC 17025:2006.

Consideration of sections 3.4, 3.6 of DSTUД ISO/IEC 17020:2001 Re The inspection body’s liability insurance and Re independently audited accounts for the inspection bodies and organizations:

Re section 3.4: Recommend NAAU section 25 of Ф-08.07.03 “List of documents that accompany the Application for the accreditation of inspection bodies in conformity with DSTU ISO/IEC 17020:2001” add the requirement Re the term for liability insurance certificate, namely: “s.25. Liability insurance certificate (until the issuance of accreditation certificate)”.

Re section 3.6: s.3.6 ISO/IEC 17020 recommend the following interpretation: “The inspection body, or the organization of which it forms a part, shall have financial stability and independently demonstrate its financial situation”
