For the attention of all accredited management systems certification bodies

In order to implement the international standard ISO 45001:2018 – “Occupational health and safety management systems – Requirements with guidance for use” in NAAU activities, the appropriate order No. 840 д was approved on May 31, 2018, according to IAF MD 21:2018 “Requirements for the Migration to ISO 45001:2018 from OHSAS 18001:2007” and in view of the three-year transitional period established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

Pursuant to the above order, the following measures will be taken by NAAU:

- Starting from January 1, 2019, applications for accreditation and conduct of all assessments of conformity assessment bodies (hereinafter referred to as CABs) will be accepted with regard to ISO 45001:2018.

- Starting from January 1, 2020, applications for accreditation and conduct of all CAB assessments will be accepted only with respect to ISO 45001:2018.

- Starting from March 12, 2021, scopes of accreditation of management systems CABs will be limited as regards certification of occupational health and safety management systems against the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007.
