(English) Applying for accreditation

All foreign applicants are informed that NAAU strictly follows its Policy on Cross-Frontier Accreditation and Cross-Frontier Accreditation principles established by the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA), International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

Therefore, NAAU accepts applications from CABs whose head office function is not established in Ukraine only in cases where the economy, in which the CAB is established has no EA MLA or ILAC MRA/IAF MLA signatory accreditation body for the sought scope or the accreditation body is for some reason unable to take on the application.

In all cases NAAU will inform the corresponding national accreditation body (NAB) of any activities which are to be conducted in the economy being under responsible of a corresponding foreign NAB.

In case a foreign conformity assessment body (CAB) intends to apply for accreditation in the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU), the following information shall to be submitted:

-     number of CAB’s employees involved in conformity assessment activities;

-     location of CAB’s HQ and any regional branches or remote sites;

-     draft accreditation scope covering applicable IAF codes, test methods, products, etc.
