Scheduled meeting of the NAAU Accreditation Council

In compliance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies” and the international standard ДСТУ ISO/IEC 17011, on December 21, 2018 the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine organized a scheduled meeting of NAAU Accreditation Council.

The updated composition of the NAAU Accreditation Board was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine No. 989 dated July 20, 2018.

The meeting was attended by 14 representatives of central executive authorities, accredited conformity assessment bodies, scientific institutions and associations.

Members of the Council considered information provided by the NAAU Chairman V. Gorytsky on the state and development trends of the national accreditation system of Ukraine and reports of NAAU staff on the analysis of risks in NAAU activities with respect to the provisions of ISO/IEC 17011:2017 and amendments to the accreditation legislation.

The Accreditation Council approved amendments to the following NAAU documents:

- Qualification requirements, procedure and rules for attestation of accreditation personnel;

- NAAU policy regarding measures to ensure compliance with the obligations of the certification / inspection body arising from its actions and / or activities;

- NAAU policy regarding the use of the national accreditation mark and reference to accreditation.

In addition, the Council agreed upon the updated composition of the Attestation Commission of Accreditation Personnel and approved the composition of the NAAU Commission of Appeals.
